This policy explains how ISRAA uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB) on this website, and how you can manage your preferences.

What are cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. This policy also covers similar browser-storage technologies we use for the same purposes — localStorage, sessionStorage, and IndexedDB — since they serve the same role even though they aren't strictly HTTP cookies.

Cookies and storage we use

israa-arabi-cookie-consent (localStorage) — remembers your cookie choice itself.
israa-arabi-cart (IndexedDB) — stores your cart contents locally in your browser; never sent to our server until you check out.
israa-arabi-buy-now-item (sessionStorage) — a one-time handoff used only when you click "Buy it now," deleted immediately after use.
israa-arabi-newsletter-subscribed / israa-arabi-newsletter-popup-dismissed-until (localStorage) — remembers whether you've subscribed to or dismissed the newsletter popup, so it isn't shown again unnecessarily.
israa-arabi-newsletter-popup-page-views (sessionStorage) — counts pages viewed during your current visit, used only to time when the newsletter popup appears.
Admin session cookie (httpOnly) — used only when the site owner logs in to the admin panel; never set for ordinary visitors.
Stripe fraud-prevention cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) — set by Stripe during checkout to help prevent fraud, for as long as Stripe's own policy specifies.

None of the above require your consent under EU/Cyprus ePrivacy rules, since they're strictly necessary for the site (or, for Stripe's cookies, for fraud prevention) to function.

Analytics cookies (optional)

If you accept analytics cookies, we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> to collect anonymous traffic statistics. These are only loaded after you accept them in the cookie banner, and are stored for the duration Google sets for its own cookies. You can decline or withdraw this consent at any time — see below.

Functional and marketing cookies (not currently used)

The cookie preference center also includes toggles for functional and marketing cookies. ISRAA does not currently set any cookies in either category — for example, the WhatsApp button on this site is a plain link with no cookie of its own, and no advertising pixel is used. If that changes, this policy will be updated first.

If you believe we've processed your data in breach of the GDPR in connection with our use of cookies, you have the right to lodge a complaint with Cyprus's supervisory authority: Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, P.O.
